There appears to be a serious error with the IGI entries for the parishes of Mashbury and Chignall St James.

I had been searching parishes around High Easter using the surname EVE in an effort to find an ancestor's possible parents. My search returns for marriages and christenings for those two parishes came up with identical people and dates. A total of 6 marriages and 15 baptisms were found, all identical in each parish, Mashbury had one marriage extra to Chignall St James.

The only other variance found was that in one person's date of baptism, the month was shown as Jan in one parish and Jun in the other.

I thought I'd mention the problem for the benefit of others who like myself were unaware of it.
