I am trying to find the family of Andrew Neilson Duff. His wife was called Elizabeth and they had two daughters, one called Doris, the other unnamed when the census was taken. Andrew was a brother of my Gt. Grandmother, Ann Duff who married James Blyth. They immigrated to New Zealand in 1863. I do believe Andrew lived at 31 Kings Mount, Birkenhead. He was a Mechanical Engineer.

Can't find Andrew prior to 1891 in England, so suspect he was still in Scotland.

From the http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk there is a marriage to Elizabeth Worrell as Harry said 1885 Birkenhead. In order to search out the ancestors of Elizabeth it would be adviseable to find her fathers name from the marriage certificate.
If you are not wanting knowledge of both Elizabeth and Andrew would like me to transfer this request to the Scottish board ?

So many thanks for your 'looking up' about my family. The visitors to Weston, Graveshead were my Gt Grandmother's Ann's brother Andrew and sister Elizabeth. I will try to find out more, especially about Andrew, there must be some of the Duff family around, it would be great to find out and maybe they may have some old photos or data concerning the family.
