Hi would anyone know of a place or house name of,
Redorach, in Tomintoul Bannfshire, my ancestor lived there in the 1841 census..i can find tomintoul but not Redorach on the map.
any help appreciated Roe

Hi Roe,
I tried a google with Redorach & Tomintoul, and only one site came up;
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~banff1841/Banffshire%20places%20-%201841%20census.html
It appears to have been in the parish of Kirkmichael, as was part of Tomintoul. No further on if it's a Croft or a wee collection of houses though.
Only know that just now it'd be snowed in!
