G Grandfather - Albert Spencer 1861 - 1926

Hoping someone can help with the following:
Harriet MARSHALL b 1844 Bulford, is shown in the 1851 census living with her grandparents James and Kitty. There are three of James's and Kitty's children also living at the house, but I have no idea which (if any) is the parent of Harriet. By 1861 Harriet is a housemaid working away from home.
The likelihood is that Mary Marshall b 1829 Bulford is Harriet's mother but would be grateful for confirmation and whether Mary subsequently married as there is no sign of her from 1961 onwards.
