Do you know that you can also modify a post, if you discover extra info or (heaven forbid!  Grin ) make a mistake?

Modify the first post in a thread if you want to alter the title, otherwise only the post you have changed will show the amendment.

We don't usually delete answered posts, as the info might help someone else later, or someone might be able to add to it.
