Why did I start this Genealogy !!!
|
Hi,
I am looking for a Mary A Frettingham, born Chilwell, who was living with an Edward Baguley at New Chilwell in 1851. She would be aged about 4 , but the family appears to be very unusual with their counting methods. I believe her father may have already died, which is why she is living with the family of Edward Baguley.
If anyone can find this entry then I would be interested in any family members/ages/occupations.
Thanks in advance
Roy

Thanks Steve,
That looks highly likely. I know her father was William Frettingham from her marriage certificate, but it now means I have a mother to go on as well. The George also ties in well with the 1851 Census, and I've just had a brainwave !!!!. It looks like Elizabeth remarried to Edward Baguley, and what they have put on the census as daur in Law, and Son in law should probably have been step son and step daughter.
Brilliant , thanks again
Roy

Thanks Heather
I had just found the marriage of Edward Baguley and Elizabeth Frettingham on Ancestry , and the 1851 Census has a William Barton living with Edward Baguley , with relationship of Father in Law, so it is all coming together wonderfully. Not knowing the mothers name of Mary A Frettingham until this posting, I didn't know that the Ezilabeth Baguely on the 1851 census was actually her mother, especially with the relationship of Daur-in-law being given
Thanks again
Roy
