I am seeking any information on John Patton born circa 1876 son of William Patton who on John's scottish marriage registration is named as a " small farmer" ...... John's mother's maiden name was Fluck or Fluke.

John left Ireland at some point and settled in Glasgow where he married Jane Wiggins (a nice Irish girl from County Monaghan   Cheesy  ) ..... unfortunately John was not to live for too long as he died from Scarlet fever in 1899 at aged 23  ... his brother William Patton was the person who registered his death in Scotland.

I have been unable to find John's birth certificate or  what happened to William after this or any link to William senior - family legend has it that the marriage or the move to Scotland (or both) caused a  split in the family.

Any information gratefully recieved.. thanks.
