Samuel Patrick of Deeping Oak
« on: Friday 02 December 05 20:15 GMT (UK) »

I am trying to find out where Deeping Oak in Northamptonshire is or was. I have the will of Samuel Patrick who died in 1795 and it states he is of Deeping Oak in the County of Northamptonshire.

Any ideas of where this is or when Samuel was buried or in fact any information at all on him is more than welcome.
Thanks

June

Hi June

Just on the borders of Northamptonshire are Market Deeping and Deeping St James.

There is  not a Deeping Oak in Northamptonshire though.

Cheers Sandy

Hi Sandy

Thanks for that. I must admit I think more and more that it was perhaps a farm near Deeping St James. Perhaps I ought to try to find a burial in Deeping St James.

Regards

June
