HESLOP/RICHARDSON
« on: Thursday 24 November 05 20:50 GMT (UK) »

Can anyone help me find my Ancestors? Thomas Heslop born 1853, His fathers name was George Heslop, and he was a Miner.  Thomas married Mary Richardson,  born 1854, they marries at St Johns parish, Newcastle on 4th March 1882, Marys father was JohnRichardson, George Heslop had died when Thomas and Mary married.  I would like to find out their mothers names, I am unable to find them on the 1901 census, and on the 1861.  any help of advice would be welcome. Thomas and Mary had a daughter named Floranna, but I believe she had more siblings. Floranna was born on 15 july 1887 at Asghill, I have her birth certificate. She was also known as Florrie or Florence.  She married Robert Bell, a coal miner in 1907, at Register office Tynemouth.  Robert (BOB) later had a shoeshop in Newcastle, which is know known at Newcastle lighting shop.

I had a quick look for Thomas Heslop b 1853, there were 2 born about the right time in Northumberland but neither was married in 1891.  Can't find Floranna Heslop, although there were Florence Heslops but not born in the right year.

Do you have any further information?
