Thankyou very much Frances for taking the trouble to reply to my query.  I have no information about the Colleypriests in Dorset at all or indeed anything about the area.  My gt.gt. grandfather left Dorset for Co. Durham leaving his family behind.  I have had a quick look at the site you very kindly directed me too, and it looks very promising indeed.
