James Smyth/Bridget Halligan/Maria Cranley

My ggrandfather James Smyth (or Smith) b. c1842 married Bridget Halligan b. c1842. The 1891 census has them both coming from Waterford.  They are on the 1861 census aged 21 and 19 living at Toxteth Park Liverpool. I cannot find any record in England/Wales for their marriage so they probably got married in Waterford in 1860/1  then went over to Liverpool. Their children were John c1865, Mary Ellen c1866, Annie c1870 and Edward 1878. I think James parents were Patrick Smyth b. c1815 and Maria Cranley b. c1821, both born Ireland. They too were in Liverpool in 1861. If anybody could find out births/marriages for me, I would be sincerely grateful, and of course if there is anybody with a tree match please get in touch.
