Can Someone Name the Regiment (If Possible)

Hi Everyone

I have Attached a Photo of My Husbands Grandfather

William Henry Dyson born 1896 Liverpool son of William and Mary Dyson

I was Wondering if someone could work out the Regiment that he was in.. I have Found 3 William H Dysons on  the World War 1 Medal Card List

1 Cheshire Regiment
2 Lancs Fusillers
3 Liverpool Regiment

The Cap Badge he is wearing looks very much like the Cheshire Regiment But could this be Possible if he Lived In Liverpool and Not Cheshire??

Any Help would be Greatly Apprecated as am going mad trying to work this out  Huh

Hi Irea,
the badge looks very much like the Cheshire Regiment.  The other two you mention are not even close.

Sometimes individuals joined up to serve in a particular regiment but found themselves in other ones once they reached front-line units.
