I am trying to find more informaton about my 2x great grandfather James Moore born in Holme-upon-Spalding Moor East Yorkshire in about 1842, he married Mary ?
the family lived for a time in Market Wieghton and Holme upon Spalding Moor, can anyone help

Hi Kevin,
I do have a Emma Moore born about 1847 in my Moore Family Tree. she was the Sister of My 3x Great grandfather James Moore. In the 1851 census she was aged 4 and lived at Castle farm Holme-upon- spalding moor East Yorkshire.
there is another Moore family that lived in Market Wieghton, which according to what my father as told me is of no relation to our family.( Mr John Moore still lives there and is the blacksmith ).
if you would like to know more let me know.

Hi Nicky,
you asked me to give you a little more information about the Marsons that live in South Newbald East Yorkshire .
My grandmother mother was Esther Marson her husband was Robert Marson, they had 8 children and lived at Ash Tree Farm.
I am trying to find one of children West Marson he was born about1862 and married about 1907. he married a Cathrine Vaurse , from Sancton, West Was in the ARMY ( A SARGENT Major) in the second world war.
from what my father told me he was a hangmans assistant at the old Hull Jail before or after going into the army.
this is all I have to go on , army help you could give me would be welcome.
