Translation English to italian. Sorry to bother people again
« on: Wednesday 07 December 05 19:46 UTC (UK) »

I need at the most 3 letters translated into Italian. I am grateful for the past help, I am just sorry that I have to bother people again.

Hi Tricia,

I didn't like to bother your family again as you helped me last time.  I didn't want to outstay my welcome and your take advantage of your generosity

There was no message attached to your reply so I don't know if you would be willing to help again. I want to send a letter to the State Archive in Naples to see if they have any record of my Grandfather. As he emigrated prior to National Service he could be listed as not turning up for duty. If he is then they might have all his details.

Also to Caserta comune.

Hi, George,

Just send the letters to my Email address and we'll sort you out.

I don't offer help and then withdraw it Wink

Anyway, want to know what happens and it does stop my husband from watching Chelsea TV for a few minutes! Can't be bad Grin

Regards, Tricia

Hi Trica.

Thanks for that, I appreciate all the help I've been given, its a great site for that.

I Haven't got much further, but found the death of my Great Grandmother in a mental hospital in Oswestry. Its a little sad, the family never registered her, so I don't know what happened. I will go to Oswestry or Shrewsbury after Christmas and have a look at the parish files and see where she is buried. It says her name was Caramelia Gentile, but as there was no family involvement we are not sure if its the correct spelling.

I will send you the letters, one at a time.

Regards

George
