I've come to a grinding halt with Ann bristow married to Charles Chilton in 1844

in the 1881 census she has her birth as 1824 in Wid More End, Buckinghamshire

if anyone could find her in the 1841 census I would be grateful

You could try the Buckinghamshire FHS. They are helpful and should you ask for a search the charges are very reasonable.

Hi Penny

Widmer End is just east of Hughenden, Bucks.  On all censuses prior to 1901 (when she is widowed) Ann says that she is from Hughenden - as is her husband and the first few children.

You probably knew this, but just in case!

Sorry I don't have access to 1841 for you
