Hi

Lanchester and Iveston are both on the road from Durham to Consett. Leadgate is near Consett.

Here's a link to a map of the area:

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=413500&y=550500&z=5&sv=413500,550500&st=4&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&ax=413500&ay=550500

Cheers

It's definitely there!  I grew up not far away.  It's outside Leadgate on the way to Lanchester - at the top of a hill where my husband and I once did a rather scary skid in the snow!
