German relatives in Barmen (Wuppental)
« on: Sunday 11 December 05 19:43 UTC (UK) »

This is a last ditch hope that someone can help!

I am trying to trace my Jaeger relatives who came from Barmen (now absorbed into Wuppental). Bruno Jaeger left germany in about 1926, went to france where I have him well documented. Then fought with the british army during the second war. He was pensioned off at the end of the war and returned to France. Unfortunately I have no idea where to start searching german records from Barmen. Complicated by the fact that though I speak French fluently I have no German! Can anyone help please?

Best wishes

Martin
