Regarding the McNutts - I think I could be of some help
My granny was born a McNutt (Deborah) of Belthorn - 4 miles away from Darwen. Where they farmed. She was one of 13, I believe. She died age 97, 2 years ago. I think she was the last of that generation - but there had been family upheavels at the graveside when my great granda died and lots of not speaking - it took 33 years to sort out his will!!!!!- so there may be more still alive. Will contact my mum shortly and find out a lot more. There are many cousins, half cousins and quarter cousins I mean a huge amount.
I was actually looking for my dad's side of the family when I fell on your e-mail. I do have a photo of great gran on washing day and granny as a girl Are you on the Irish side - what's your link??
