 PHILPOTT FROM DEAR KENT
Know that you are doing Philpotts in Thanet.
Are these any connection with Philpott - mainly mariners - all born in Deal. Any relations of George Edward Augustus Philpott  1844  son of William 1816 would be great.They were involved in lots of rescues at sea and at least one was in the Marines. Thanks .

Hi,

Sorry, am only looking at Richard Phillpot's line in Whitstable and have not got any further back on that line - or sideways !
Perhaps others with connection to Phillpot tree have done more research on that line and can help with a Deal connection.

sorry to use this topic but I needed to get in touch with JUNIPER re John  and Bridget Coleman family. The relevant topic was closed. I am descended from his brother Richard who came to Australia. Hello All  Cheesy,

I have one Philpott in my tree:

Mary Philpot marr John Collard Woodnesborough 19/02/1770. They had two sons Henry b Woodnesborough 1773 & William b Monkton 1775.

I know nothing about this Mary. Does anyone have any further info?
