Would appreciate a lookup for McKimmie family in Forres in 1841 and 1851

Possibly living on Caroline Street maybe number 7

Could please give some more names to work on and I will look it up for you next year.  The Heritage cenre is closed for the holiday season and is moving to new permises.  It could be the middle of next month before I get access to the census records.

Looked for Mc Kimmies in Forres 1851, but was only able to find two, none in Caroline Street.


Mary McKimmie    Lodger   12 scholar 107 High Street b.Forres


Jane McKimmie   HD WD 68 Pauper Formerly Farmers Wife
143 High Street. b. Drainie.


Sorry if it's not much help, but if you could give me names to look for I will do a a search of Moray for you.

Hi

John McKimmie was my great,great grandfather and he lived at 10 Caroline St, Forres. He died on 18th January 1870 aged 57 at 7 Caroline Street.

Hi

Forres 1841 is on Freecen. You'll find John there age shown as 25 (remember they rounded ages down  in 1841) He is shown as a Tailor.
