A scanned copy of Thomas Baines' History of Yorkshire "from the earliest ages to the year 1870".  This is a fascinating read for anyone interested in the history of yorkshire.  The file is a 446 page 2.5Mb pdf file so will take a long time to download if you have a dial up connection.  To open the file you need to click on the the words "Read Me" which are a bit difficult to see but are located in the centre of the screen.
