I applied for free Rootschat webspace some time ago and all the registration etc kindly sent back to me by Rootschat has been deleted  from my e-mail.
Please help as I think I`m ready to upload my first (test) page.

Yup ! you're right - if you type http://sheddyg.rootschat.net/ in the address bar, you can see your website !
So now we can go to the second step:
go to the RootsChat website file manager
(see Topic: Tutorial: Step-by-Step Guide to building your website
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,93490.msg397245.html#msg397245 )
and enter sheddyg.rootschat.net in the Account name.
Then click on the link "Forgot your password ?"
You will then have to answer a security question with the answer that you supplied when you applied for the website,
(for a reminder, see Topic: forgot my website password http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,92402.msg394741.html#msg394741 )
and your passwort will be sent to your e-mail address.
Username (Account name) and password are all you need to load your website !

Hello again Bob!
I need some help please
I cannot get CoffeeCup to connect to server. I have followed your instructions very carefully, but it keeps telling me ; site not found. make sure you are connected to the internet and your hostname is spelled correctly - which I am and it is! I have broadband and the host name should be my rootschat site name?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled CoffeeCup just in case I made a mistake - please help

Exactly the same as the rest of the tutorial, as far as I can tell.
I uninstalled then reinstalled CoffeeCup again just to be sure Ihad followed the procedure correctly.

Bob - I`ve just tried turning off the Norton firewall - and hey presto!!!!!
All I`ve got to do now is figure the rest out I expect I shall be talking with you again - soon !!!!
