Copenhagen Sailing ships crew list

 Can anyone please help me in my search ? My great grandfather Peter jensen was b Copenhagen 1844. He settled in Liverpool and married Mary Ann Bamber in 1866. At that time he lived in Mersey street Liverpool He worked on the sailing ships out of liverpool as far as I can gather all his life.How can I trace some of the ships of that time he may have sailed on? Any Ideas.
