No it is just the same (well as the last time we were there  3 yrs ago), there is a new building there though, that has an all glass restaurant at the very top - Pearl on the Peak, we had dinner there one night, absolutely fabulous view - amazing and a fantastic meal (at a fantastic price!) Grin
I'm just about to post keith his pics

Cor Newbie, isn't it funny, just as soon as I looked at the photo I can smell the place  Grin

and so as not to go completely off subject, the style of the buildings has not really changed Keith,
it would have been in a high rise, maybe 5 or so stories high, above the banking floor on the ground floor.

They are just higher rise now!

Keith when are you going  Grin Grin

Wendi, you certainly know you are back!
We travelled a lot more this time and further too, using public transport mostly, we went to Sheung Wan, dried fish street, herbal medicine street, Lan Kwai Fong, SoHo, Sai Kung, we also went on the new Pgong Ning - is that right, the cable car to the Big Buddha on Lantau, what a ride!
hope you like the photos

Wink Thanks for that!  - The pics!!! they take my breath away and to think the last time I was there the Conault Building ( I think that's how it's spelt) 4th one from the left on your top pic was the tallest - but some things I do recognise, the entrance for the tunnel on Kowloon side for example.  Sai Kung, Lantau.......oh my..... and I went for Dim Sum with Chinese friends of mine today - guess your photos really round that off   Cry

Thank you newbie   Grin

Hi Newbie,

Many thanks for the photos - they are brilliant!  Grin Grin Cool Cool Cool

Wendi

Great comment Wendi - some things only change for change sake! Wink

Right - off to study the ones sent direct - I wonder what my Uncle would have thought about us using the internet to "talk" to each other and show photos - and it was only 70 odd years ago - as Wendi said some things change!!

Thanks everyone again - never really expected an answer to my original post - and look what information and help I have received - should have known with Rootschatters - that they would come up trumps.  Cool Cool Cool

Cheers

Keith
