1821 or 1831 Cavan census Henderson family - COMPLETED
« on: Friday 30 December 05 03:46 UTC (UK) »

Can anyone tell me how I can access to a 1821 or 1831 census of Cavan?

If anyone does have access to these census's, please could you have a look to see if there is a family with the following people:  James Henderson (aged about 4), Robert Henderson (farmer), possibly Elizabeth, and a mother (name unknown).

Many thanks

Hello Fushia,

Unfortunately there's not a Census for Co. Cavan for 1821 or 1831. The best one can do is have a look
at Griffiths Valuation of Co. Cavan 1856-7 which shows two Hendersons named James but no Robert.

James Henderson, Corran, Killashandra, Cavan
James Henderson, Knockateery, Annagh, Cavan

Thank you for your response.  By 1856 James Henderson was living in Dublin so this doesn't help.
