My husband's family have Harriman's from Shepshed in their history.
They were Framework Knitters.

Hi I have a Thomas Harriman c1860 in Seagrave who married my ancestor Sarah Lewin b1880 Sileby. His parents were William c1817 and Ann Draycott c1823. Thomas had a sister Mary 1853 and brother William 1857.

Hi,

our Harriman connection is Mary Harriman who married Charles Wright ( bricklayer) @ Shepshed near Loughborough in Leicestershire. We think her parents may have been Benjamin and Hannah. Mary was born about 1844 and was christened 11/08/1844 @ Shepshed.

Does this help anyone?

Harpist.
