what would the 1st names really be of people known as Hettie/Hattie & Sissy?

I wonder if Hettie could be short for Henrietta also?

Try google Gazza - together with words such as "meaning" "name". I did this with Cissy and got many hits - I only looked at the first one  Cheesy  Cheesy

I eventually traced my aunt Sissy only to find she was actually called Lucy. Smiley

Hettie could also be used for Henrietta. 

I'm afraid I just called my big sister sissy - her real name bears no resemblance to sissy.

My aunt Cissy was really called Celia. I also had a friend called Hattie whose real name was Harriet.
