Mary and Charlotte Kearney

Hi

I am looking for any informaton on the above named, greatgrandmother and great great grandmother.  I have very little to go on except this is the correct spelling.  Mary came from Ireland with her mother stayed in the Liverpool area for a while then came south to London.  I can only gauge her age from the fact she had her first child 1892 and her last 1912.  At some stage Mary's younger sister, Tilly, joined her.

Hi,

So Charlotte Kearney had two girls, Mary and Tilly, all born in Antrim?  Mary must have been born between 1870 and 1876  or so? Better first to find her on the 1901 census in London and perhaps other relatives before searching in Ireland I think. Did she marry? Does the certificate have a townland or parish name?

Thanks for replying.  The problem is she is not recorded on 1901 census, dodgy area.  I know she was living there as she had 3 children there

Hi,

What about the 1891 census? Check various spellings as both the census givers and the census takers had dodgy phonetic spelling and strong accents to contend with.

Is it possible that these two namesakes are your relatives?
