"RODINGTON, a parish in the Wellington division of South Bradford hundred, county Salop, 7 miles from Shrewsbury, its post town, and 4½ N.W. of Wellington. The village, which is of small extent, is situated on the Shrewsbury canal and river Rodden. The inhabitants are chiefly engaged in agriculture. The parish comprises the townships of Rodington and Sugden. The glebe consists of 35 acres. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lichfield, value £270. The church, dedicated to St. George, is a modern edifice. The Wesleyans have a place of worship. The parochial charities produce about £18 per annum, arising from legacies."

I think your Elizabeth Hulse is my great grandad's sister his name is John Hulse born 1893 Tyldesley, his Parents were Elizabeth Chetwood and Joseph Hulse. We have found 12 brothers and sister all together for John Hulse born to mother Mary and father Henry Hulse.
John Hulse married Eidth in Bolton May 12 1917. My great grandad John and Eidth Hulse went on to have 12 children one of them being my Granny Hilda who Married my Grandad Robert Orrell. Most of John and Eidth Hulse family live in Bolton.
If anybody has more information on the Hulse's of Rodington/Bolton would be very greatfull.
