Thanks for the reply Chris, however I have found that any internet info on the RSR tends to be very superficial. WSRO have documents relating to soldiers of the 1st battalion who participated in the 1884-85 Nile Expedition. One of my direct ancestors was awarded the Nile Expedition medal with the Nile clasp and the Khedives Bronze Star 1884-85.

The info i am seeking is in file RSR/MSS/1/4.
