From 1851 census living in Silver Strret, All Saints Northampton

Mary Wyatt Head / Widow age 69 Laundress; born 1782 Moonkie Huh  DEVONshire

2 doors up is

Henry Wyatt age 28 Unmarried ; Brickmaker lodging with Betsy Waren, age 32 Widow & daughters Ann age 9 & Fanny 2.

On 1861 Henry Wyatt age 37 Mason's Labourer; still in Silver street with wife Elizabeth age 42 daughters Fanny age 12 Mary 9 & Henry 2.

Huh is the Betsy he's lodging with in 1851 the same Elizabeth Wareing he marrys in 1855

staying on 1861 - 3 doors up from Henry in Silver street, is another family of Wyatts, headed by Jno b 1817 & wife Mary age 42 - any relation ?

I would agree that it is most likely he married the woman he was lodging with, as names and ages all fit perfectly. One thing thought that's confusing me, if William died in 1836, why is he named on the marriages of Henry and Charles? I thought they usually put deceased? But he's still named in 1846 Charles and even later with Henry, being 1855.

I thought you might ask that question.

Athough deceased father's were still noted on marriage certificates (without the word deceased noted).

At the end of the day they were still their father alive or deceased  .
