Great! My email is mariedonaldson@optusnet.com.au
I will be going away on Saturday till 25th November, and will not have internet access so please don't think I am not interested if you don't get many replies.

My friend for whom I am researching is descended from Eileen Mabel Amies who was the daughter of Thomas Reginald Amies (son of Thomas Arthur Andrew). Thomas Reginald and his son Cyril were both print makers, etchers, artists etc.

Do you know when Thomas Reginald came to Australia? Did others come too?

have you been able to prove a link to Sir Hardy Amies, couturier to the Queen. The family here believes that to be true.

Regards, Marie
