Hi Can somebody find William Hamston Or Hamson /Hampston or similar born c 1888 possibly Kent  occupation Merchant Seaman  his father was George  Hamston a soldier in 1901 by 1908 He was in Hartlepool Co Durham when he got married so coulb be there in 1901 or even 1891 not sure

There's a William Thomas Hamson born Maidstone 1883 who is a soldier at Woolwich in 1901 - could he have followed his father into the army first before becoming a seaman?
