Hi Dianne,
NZSG index has a marriage reference for an Elizabeth Sarah Flemming to Cecil Sydney Vessey in 1911, folio 8379.
And there is a probate at Auckland Archives for Elizabeth Sarah VESSEY of Onehunga, 1961.
Christchurch Library has an excellent index of early babtisms, marriages and burials so I will have a look in the next week or so and see if I can find anything else on the Flemings.
