Hello in the 1851 census i have found a John Laidler age 69 born scotland an ag lab livung in Holmside Durham at 60 Burn hale along with a wife called margaret born abt 1803 in Lamesley Durham with 3 sons Joseph 9 George 4 and Adam age 1. i have been unable to find a marriage for this couple and the details recorded on Johns death in 1867 are scant . can anyone please help me to fill in the gaps with this family any help or pointers in where i should be looking would be much appreciated.thankyou for taking the time to read my message kind regards aeroqueen

Looks as if Margaret had been married before to a Mr Patterson if this is the right lot. No sign of the youngest boy. Andrea
