Steve

Annie's given you the number one bit of advice.  When your Cooks tour of those sites is completed and your appetite is high, you will probably want advice on how to go for it.  There is excellent advice on the free webspace board

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,292.0.html

and more specifically advice on website issues:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,70811.0.html

and a step by step guide to building your site:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,93490.0.html

Many of the sites you will look at on your cooks tour were put together by novices. So work out what you want to do and go for it!  There's always plenty of advice on here if you hit a problem.

Hi Steve,

Go for it...

It's infuriating!

It's obsessive!

It's GREAT fun!

You learn new skills, challenge yourself (unless you already have th eskills - sorry not presuming  Cheesy ) and....

There are some excellent people here who can help you!  Where else on the net can you get 24/7 live tutorial support!

FOR FREE!!!

No pressure chaps and chapesses or is that chats and chatesses?  I just think you are all great!

I use my meagre website as a way of sharing what info I have.  I'm big into contacting distant relatives and it is so much easier to send them a link than print and post info.  It's very useful for genesreunited contacts.

All the best,
Pam
