Friths in Ecclesfield

My great-great-grandfather Samuel Frith married Sarah Lee in Ecclesfield, Yorks on 27 Mar 1826. Their first recorded children were born in 1831 in Dronfield, Derbyshire. However, I'm sure they had children in Ecclesfield between 1826 and 1831, including Joseph Frith born about 1826.

I can't find any birth records. Can anyone help please?

Have you tried getting a copy of Joseph Frith's marriage cert to see who his father was?

A lookup request for 1841 might show the oldest children still at home - I'm afraid I don't have access to that census, but someone else might be able to help you here.
