Townland Of Ballybog

 I have been looking at a record of one of my Ancestors
Her Birth place was given as Ballybog
Does anyone know where this is
She Married a man from Gurteen near Killeigh/Tullamore
so I expect it is near there
Anyone know for sure

 Thanks for the help Folks
I had considered the name might be  miss read as Ballyboy too and I had found the name Delaney listed there in 1856 so that looked  quite interesting
But now when I "Googled".. Ballybog,,, i see one listed in conection with a place called ...Croghan
Would anyone know where this is in relation to the other townland ?

Hi Fozzy,
       There is a townland in Croghan with the name ballybeg and there are Delaney families living there.

Thanks a million...I did come across another mention somewhere which seamed to showed that both spellings have been used..Didnt know that there was Delaney family still living there..Its not an uncommon name in county Offaly but I guess that its quite possible that they might be my distant cousins from the 1700s...how good would that be !!!!!.
