Census look ups required

Gladys margaret Paton c 1923 - Her parents I believe to be Andrew Paton and margaret Paton.
Andrews parents i believe to be Andrew Paton and Joan Coull.
Margarets Parents possibly William Paton & ??

Any census information would be great.  Montrose area, possibly Arbroath.

Hi there

No point trying the census as the latest one you can look at is the 1901.

I suggest that you get an Edinburgh searcher to find for you Gladys Margaret's birth certificate. This will tell you the date and place of her parents' marriage, and with this you can download an image of the marriage certificate from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. This will tell you the full names of all Gladys' grandparents and the ages of both her parents. Then you can work back using the online resources including the census.

There are links from Scotland's People to the GROS site which has links to lists of searchers.
