Durward/Dorward...complete
« on: Wednesday 15 September 04 20:42 UTC (UK) »

Hello!
i'm trying to find information on"Robina Durward", born 1870, Kincardine, her parents were William and Jessie,
i have her listed on the 1881 cencus aged 11,but after this i have no trace of Robina ,just her parents ect.
I believe she had an older sister named Mary (5 years older).
I have managed to find out about most of her brothers, but a bit rusty on one called David...up till 1913 he worked in Stracathro as a farm worker/gardener. by 1919 he was in Dundee, after 1-2 years dissapeared (he'd be about 40 then)....thanks snowolf

Hi snowolf

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi There,
I have Dorwards in my tree from this area.  My Auntie Nellie Welsh c 1906 married Robert Dorward and had a son David.   They all lived in Bervie.  Is this of any help?  I can try and get more info if you are still looking.

\Regards,
Lynda
