Mellors in Meltham!

There a whole heap of them!
I was wondering if anyone would do me a great kindness and find a person for me.

I'm looking for Edwin Schofield  Mellor who was born in Meltham in 1849.

I have found him on the 1881 census but do not have access to the earleir census's before that so I have no clue who his mother and father were.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.
