Hello Thank you for the reply< I am trying to track down a EDWARD WELLS b? I do not know his birth place, so I am trying to trace it, he had a daughter KATE CATHERINE WELLS b1872c she married @ PARISH CHURCH Loughborough 1896 to STEPHEN ASHFORD b1872 I think SOMERSET, some one sent me the 1851 census for LONG BUCKBY NORTH with WILLIAM WELLS HEAD 42 BETSY 39 wife EDWARD 2 I am trying to go back and track down William's parents, but how can I be sure this is my EDWARD ?when I have no idea of birth place of him or KATE Catherine. I am looking for either LEIC OR NORTHANTS, area's, and I suppose I am trying to make certain they are my family, hence the hesitation, any advice would be great thanks again Beryl

Hi Sandy & good morning Sorry I did not reply yesterday not feeling to good, a million thanks for the help you are giving me, do you think then that my Edward Wells, is the one born @ Long Buckby?, Kate Catherine father was Edward Wells and as I said all I know of him is his name & Occ which was a Labourer. How can I confirm that William is Edward's father. Beryl

Good Morning Sandy Thank you for the information, you have been a great help, I have put every thing you have sent to file and when I feel a little better will put it on the tree. so you think Edward is definetly mine? I was so confused because of not knowing his birth place, I am going to be cheeky and ask maybe you can help me with another problem or just give me some advice. my Grandfather was married in Loughborugh, died in Nottingham but I cannot trace his birth place, I do have a couple of addresses for him @ Leic, in fact I know everthing about him but his place of birth, I even know his father's name and his occupation, I would of course understand if you can not help me on this matter Kind Regards Beryl
