Hi all,
I am doing some/lots of research into the KIng and Cumbers families at present. Mostly in South Weald /Romford & Cranham areas.
Story is there is a Willis King, buried 6 May 1779 (don't switch off as it is an early one). Later on, there is  a Thomas Willis King (born 1785 and buried 1849. Then there are Cumbers members with middle name Willis.
I have researched at the ERO, etc, and we know that the will of Willis King mentions Hobbs, in Cranham, and loads more too. But records do not tell everything, or if they do, you have to find them ALL, in all the right places at the right times, etc...
So, has anyone got a clue where this Willis name creeps in as a middle name, and are there fellow researchers of the King and Cumbers names?
There is lots more to add, but these entries need to be kept short, and snore ..........

Best
