coal/haulage business chesterfeld

Can anyone give me any information or even remember a coal /light haulage business which existed in the whittington area of chesterfield around 1905 to 1940's
It was operated by my great grandfather Joseph harding, his sons joseph (my grandfather), david, george, and jack.
they operated from the pottery lane area, the main business being run from 'coal road' which was adjacent to the canal at wheeldon mill.
They originally had a horse and cart, and later a lorry.
just seem totaly unable ti uneart anything.
any suggestions most welcome.....well within reason that is!!!!!!
