You may already be aware of this - if you click onto the search area of the site

www.familysearch.org

and then go to Library catalogue  click - then click on the place name search - type in the place name that you are interested in and you will be able to find out which church records/census info is available on film or fiche to hire from the LDS Family History Libraries.

That is a great tip,  it is always useful to know what is available for the area you are interested in,  and of course not all churches have made their registers available to the LDS.

I always have a rummage around on a site,  explore,  do not just use it in the obvious way,  you never know what you may find.
