Have now managed to trace the family back to the above. His parents were Robert Love and Mary and cannot find a marriage for them in Broseley. Anyone any ideas please?

Have you found Thomas's Brothers and Sisters?
I traced my maternal grandmother's line back to John Love who married Hannah Brooks 18 May 1730 at Broseley. John was buried 10 September 1760 also at Broseley. Do we share the same ancestor?
The only Love having children during the the right period that I could find was Robert and Mary but I couldn't make the link.
Most of the Love's in the Broseley area seem to be descended from either Thomas or John Love, a very varied and colourful family.

Robert Love And Mary Edwards, mar 29/jan/1715, Benthall, Shropshire,
If you look on the Shropshire street atlas, you will find Benthall is as close to Brosley as to be nowt, Hope this helps. By a coincedence Im searching the Edwards line just down the road from you,
Best regards, Pete.

Hi Pete and Dave,
Have just picked up your replies, thank you very much.
I haven't managed to trace any siblings for Thomas as yet but who knows we may find a link someday!
Pete - the Robert Love/Mary Edwards connection certain seems quite possible. Do you know the names of any of their children? I'm doing my research at a little arms length as I'm based in the North of Scotland.

These are all , ( unless they were R.C. ) these are not on the disc,
Please feel free to ask for any look up, if its on here you will have it,
Best regards. Pete,
p.s I am pretty certain the Edwards line invented Viagra, (and the bicycle ) and kept it to themselfs, ,

Hi Pete,
Thanks very much for the information. I will now have to go to work on my family tree programme again as, much to my horror, I found half of the information I'd put on wasn't there! Still at least I had a hard copy so shouldn't take too long.
I really am Welsh but migrated on marriage!
Claire
