Can anyone help?

I have MARY WOFFOTEN born abt 1821, Weterleigh, Glos.

She married  THOMAS HOLBROW 09 JULY 1846 at st phillip and jacob, bristol.

IGI shows no other WOFFOTEN. Where else can i go to find and siblings, parents etc.


I know you may think of dogs when you see surname,  Iknow i did.

Hello again

The nearest I can find in 1851 is a family in Westerleigh with the name WOFFENDON.  Father Thomas is a coal miner from Westerleigh.  Mother is Dina.

Have you seen a record of the marriage & does it give her father's name & occupation?

HO107/1956/16/24

WAFFENDON Thomas H M 47 - coal miner - Glos Westerleigh
Dina W M 44 - Kingswood Hill
Bengimen son U 23 - coal miner - Monmouth Blancoom
Sarah dau U 16 - Glos Westerleigh
Thomas son 15 - coal miner - ditto
William son 13 - ditto - ditto
Samuel son twin 8 - Glos Staple Hill
John son twin 8 - ditto

Address: Westerleigh St, Westerleigh, Gloucestershire

There is also a Hannah WOFFENDON b 1828 who is a servant in Chipping Sodbury

This looks very like a transcription I found for one of my Wolfenden family.
