« on: Monday 30 August 04 15:11 BST (UK) »

My G.Grandfather was living in the year 1908 and would have been aged 72. He was still living in Cannock at the time. The U.K B.M.D ( very good site)Have not yet transcribed that area nor have Free B.M.D. The only place that has the full index Of B.M.D is in the city which i gave up going to,it's to noisy. so can you tell me is there anyway i can find his death date? do you know if enyone has transcribed the deaths in Cannock. I have been waiting a long time to know.

Hello Sylvia. Silly me forgot to put a  name in Roll Eyes My G.Grandfathers Name was Wesson Jones the reason i know he was living in 1908 is because he is on my grandfather's marraige certificate. on the 1901 census Wesson Jones and wife Ann were still in cannock. I dont think that they ever moved away from that area because the children  were born rugeley and nearby places. I wasnt given an address on the 1901 census.
My Grandfather was the second youngest child of 7 and his younger sister never married so no M/C. hope this helps

Celia
