Hi, ebn thanks for the reply, in 1879 Edith Martha Farmer was born there, her father George was the innkeeper, by 1881 the family had moved to the Bride Inn at Bucknell, Salop

OK will also see what I can discover.
There ae 2 inns there now, and I know of at least 2 others from the past, and there were bound to have been more. I imagine you want to know the location and get a picture if possible ?

A chance conversation after 11pm last night leads me to believe that was the Gerogian house that is sideways onto the raod entering Pembridge from the West, where the raod narrows. But i will confirm this. I was also told there is a documnet from C19 concerning this Inn held by Kington Museum.
But I will check location for definite later this coming week.

Now had the following from a local historian: George Farmer probably arrived at the Swan during 1879 not long before the birth of his daughter there but had gone by 1881.
This is from Kelly's directory of 1879 whichs till shows previous landlord, William Bishop but was probably compiled in 1878, and had gone by the 1881 census
