Hi
I have established that this couple were married and had a daughter Elizabeth in 1871 and a son Robert in 1873. However from there on in I have ground to a halt!
I can find no entry for the marriage anywhere!
Here's what I have:
Margaret Bennison born 3 Aug 1843 Eskdaleside, Whitby
Robert Dixon born Rugley Northumberlandshire about 1845 - died 14th Dec 1872 Sunderland
I have found them in the 1871 census living at 5 Hay Street, Bishopwearmouth.
Would love some more info so I can trace Robert back - he was my gt gt grandfather.
